Web Design (Session A)
This three day class will cover three phases of web design. First, students will learn the basic fundamentals of HTML elements and User Interface (UI) design through Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

Next, the students will take these fundamentals into practice by redesigning existing outdated websites and giving them new life through their own ideas of form and function.

In the final class, students will be introduced to the latest version of HTML, HTML 5, and CSS 3, and experiment with the cutting edge technology in use today. Ages 11-18. Please only register for one session.

Making Your Own e-Book (Session A)
Collaborate with other youth at HiTech to create and publish an e-book about healthy lifestyles.

The book has 6 chapters. They are:
Chapter 1: Youth Speak Out On Health Issues; Chapter 2: Diagrams of a healthy living; Chapter 3: Healthy Lifestyles - What people are doing to stay healthy, and is it working? Chapter 4: Images of Healthy Lifestyles; Chapter 5: What can you do to improve the healthiness of your families, community, and the world! Chapter 6: The Honor Roll! Your team will develop the content, images, and video. Your team will also learn how to use the technology needed to create an interactive e-book.

Ages 11-18. Please only register for one session.
