Incredible iBook: "Earth, Space, and Beyond"
Collaborate with your friends to create an iBook. A global focus project is underway and youth will contribute by writing a brief summary, poem, or letter (less than one page) for a new HiTech book entitled "Earth, Space and Beyond." This new book is focused on highlighting, earth, space, and imaginary worlds in a way that educates other youth, explores the possibilities, and brings "coolness of earth science" to life.

The chapters are:

  • Chapter 1: What's Cool About Earth: A section of the book geared to exploring the earth (earth science might include the ground, rocks, formations, clouds, etc.)
  • Chapter 2: Gone Green Is it Working?: A section of the book that is geared for exploring green energy methods and practices to provide insight about what is working, what is not and why.
  • Chapter 3: Exploring the Solar System: A section of the book geared toward the exploration and discussion of our unbelievably cool solar system. What is your favorite planet and why, what would life be like there, are there other solar systems?
  • Chapter 4: Roadtrip - Living & Traveling in our Solar System: A section of the book geared to exploring or envisioning life in various places in our solar system.
  • Chapter 5: Beyond - Now: A section of the book geared to exploring imaginary and futuristic worlds, cities, houses, and ways of living.

Please bring your document on a thumb drive or write during our time together. Want to include a picture or photo? Bring original pictures or photos that best depict your written document, or create an image during the iBook session.
