Share your passion for technology and make a difference in the lives of a diverse community of library customers, by teaching the valuable computer and technology skills needed to thrive in today’s digital world.
Topics to be shared will vary based on the customers’ needs and may include: printing/copy/fax, email online searching and navigating the internet, creating/recovering passwords, filling out on-line forms, learning basic word processing using Office Libre, working with eBooks and ereaders and other smart devices, assist customer in locating, accessing, logging in and navigating websites.

By supporting adult learners, the volunteer will:
Enjoy giving and sharing basic computer knowledge
Gain satisfaction from helping customers stay connected to friends and family and access vital resources
Bridge the digital divide through education
Be comfortable working with a diverse public
Training:
Complete on-line training to become familiar with printers and other library resources. The training will also explore values and behaviors to promote a collaborative learning experience.
