Teen ‘Zine Cyber Safety and Civility Policy

Members of Teen ‘Zine recognize the almost limitless possibility of the internet. At the same time, we know that not all internet activity is safe. Teen ‘Zine contributors take the following steps to protect themselves and others:

  • We may choose to use pseudonyms.
  • We will avoid publishing any personal contact information such as birth dates, home addresses, home phone numbers, or school names.
  • We will choose our words carefully, considering the thoughts and feelings of others.
  • Our Teen ‘Zine activity will not conflict with any rules about online behavior that may exist in our individual homes.

For more information on online safety concerns visit Netsmartz.org.
