Hey, my name is Lauren Rutherford and I’m 14 years old. I’m a ninth grader (yup, a freshman) in high school. I have a 22-year-old brother and 11-year-old sister, a mom, dad, and dog, Pepper. I was born in Los Angeles, California and hope to go back there and live there some day. Along with traveling to places like California, I enjoy playing the violin, swimming, volleyball, reading, writing, movies, the beach, music and just hanging out with friends, having fun being a teenager. I love listening to Maroon 5, Usher, Kelly Clarkson and Kanye West. When I grow up, I’m hoping to be a journalist for one of my favorite magazines, so it’s a great experience to write for Teen ‘Zine.
