Scores: Each team’s coach will receive their team’s score in the coming weeks. Please be patient as we review the scores then send them via email. In the meantime, please celebrate your team’s accomplishments of reading, team building, and good sportsmanship.
Howard County Library System and the Howard County Public School System are excited to bring you the 2022 Battle of the Books at Merriweather Post Pavilion. While we invite all teams to compete outdoors under one (covered) location, a virtual location will be made available to teams who wish to participate together online. We continue to prioritize the safety and enjoyment of this event for all teams, coaches, families, and staff volunteers. We thank you in advance for your hard work, flexibility, and dedication to the battle.

Permission Forms
- *Please note that the permission form submissions are a two-step process. First, you will enter your email and then the system will send you an email for you to open and click “review document”, where you will fill out and submit the form. Please check your spam and other folders for this email. Thank you.
- Each coach and student member of the team must fill out a permission form to participate.
- Forms will be available and posted to this page once registration ends in November.
- The deadline to return forms is February 7, 2022.
