In honor of Earth Day, learn about the importance of creating a connection between ourselves and the land, and how we can incorporate small daily steps to strengthen that relationship. Tonantzin is a concept from Aztec Mythology that is associated various aspects of Mother Earth.
Xóchitl of Seven Dreams Ceremony, a locally foraged & seasonal apothecary based in Baltimore, will discuss both the physical and spiritual benefits of gardening, basic principles of tending to the land, and how we can heal our bodies and lineages by tending to the lands around us. Through these different approaches, Xóchitl shares what we can achieve while living in reciprocity with Mother Earth.
Participants will receive seed paper, a zine, and a collection of seeds to take home; all materials are provided.
