Position Title: Greeter

Branch: Central Library

Department: Non-fiction

Major Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers as they reach the upper level at Central Library.
  • Answer directional questions and distribute brochures.
  • Direct customers to appropriate desk or Library area.
  • Ask closing questions as customers are leaving.
  • Collect customer comments.

Training: Tour building and review building map. Review customers' service expectations, brochures, frequently asked directional questions, and professional appearance expectations.

Length of commitment: Minimum six months

Time Involvement: Minimum two hour shifts; 10:00 am - 9:00 pm.
