Exciting times are on the horizon for Elkridge! Join HCLS and Grimm + Parker Architects for one of two "dream" sessions focusing on the new HCLS Elkridge Branch. During these community conversations, we will begin the process of envisioning a 21st century education center that delivers an extraordinary curriculum to the Elkridge community and beyond
UPCOMING COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS:
- Monday, September 8, 2014 from 1 to 3 pm, HCLS Elkridge Branch
- Monday, September 8, 2014 from 7 to 9 pm, HCLS Elkridge Branch
Conveniently located along the Route 1 Corridor near historic Elkridge, the HCLS Elkridge Branch opened in August 1993. The Elkridge Branch delivers HCLS' curriculum (materials, research assistance, classes, and events) to a steadily growing population, placing a major emphasis on children's classes. The Elkridge Branch recorded 412,000 visits in FY 2013.
This location features 44 computers available for public use, all of which include Internet access and word processing software.
A sea-themed mosaic, created by art class students at Elkridge Landing Middle School, adds color and depth to the branch’s Route 1 façade, as does a rotating exhibit of public sculpture art.
Take the Howard Transit Purple Route to the Elkridge Branch. For more information on routes and schedules, call 1-800-270-9553 or visit www.howardtransit.com.
